This church that is located on the corner of Svetozar Miletic Street and Jovan Subotic Street in small ports and the main entrance to the church is from the streets. Uniate Church as a character means that it combines aspects of the Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches. The foundation stone was set in 1820 and the church was built in the classicist-baroque style. It is dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul. No one knows the exact date of completion of construction (1834 or 1837) because the files were destroyed during the revolt of 1848.
Members of the Greek Catholic parish in Novi Sad are Russians and Ukrainians. At present, it gathers around 3000 worshipers. Worship services are held in Church-Slavonic language and a sermon on the Ruthenian and Ukrainian.
